I'm renaming it from the previous post, but there wasn't enough space to name it fully, so here it goes. . . "Lisa Simpson - Hobby Detective". Has a cute ring to it, huh? And to give this piece some life, I wrote a little back-story for it. Enjoy!
Brief Synopsis:
Not long ago, Lisa suspected fowl-play from a major logging company, whose currently invested in a large share of Springfield Forest. After sneaking her way inside the contractor's office, not far from the forest, she discovered an old claim that protects the very same area the company was invested in. After reading the document, Lisa also learned that much of the forest was home to many endangered animals, but were only protected by the very document she's holding.
Realizing the value of this evidence, Lisa pocketed it away and darted for home. Believing that no one spotted her snooping around, Lisa felt safe and decided to take her evidence to the police in the morning. However, it turned out that her trespassing was discovered, as several hooded men broke inside the house while the family slept. It wasn't long until the intruders took control, and had every family member there bound and gagged.
Bart was left all trussed up in his room, while Marge and Lisa were seated at a corner of the living room downstairs. Everyone was scared, not knowing as to what might happen to them; but Lisa knew why these men were here in the first place.
After some searching, they were able to find the claim document, and soon were on they're way out; but not before leaving a highly explosive time-bomb right beside Lisa's feet. Once Marge and Lisa heard their captors driving away, they started squirming to get loose.
But the situation seemed impossible anyway, there was not enough time to get free before the bomb goes off; and Bart is trapped in the same predicament upstairs. And yet still, hope remains. Homer was just driving back from Moe's Tavern, and will soon discover his family's plight. But will he make in in time?
Ok, I just made the correction. Thanks for pointing it out for me, I really appreciate it. And for those that have already downloaded this drawing before, please, come back so you can get the corrected version.
Actually, the word 'you're' is a contraction of the words 'you' and 'are', so what's there is correct. If it had been 'your our only hope', it would have been wrong. On a few different levels, actually.
its epic! (lol)
